COVID Update 22-8-20

Following the recent announcement by our prime minister regarding the recent outbreak. We will only be able to see emergency cases during Alert Level 3 until midnight Friday (if this is extended, then we will reschedule all non-urgent treatment until restrictions are lifted).

Dr AJ Salman and Dr Michael Zhuo will be available for emergency treatment and will continue urgent treatment and tele-consultations for patients until the alert level has been reduced.

We will continue to serve our community by providing emergency treatment just as we did during the lockdown earlier this year. Full pre-screening of patients will take place prior to arranging the appointments.

Your Safety Is Our Priority…

All procedures will adhere to the Council‘s Infection Prevention and Control practice standard and will continue to follow both ‘Universal Precautions’ and ‘Transmission Based Precautions’.

During Level 3, will continue to wear the appropriate protective equipment (PPE). We still have a healthy supply of protective equipment including hospital gowns that were given to us by the ministry of health. All patients will be managed with appropriate social distancing in the waiting areas and we will minimise the waiting times.

Keeping our staff and patients as safe as possible during this time remains our first priority and we will continue to update you as our operation evolves over the coming days.
