I am Dima Al-Sheikh, Originally from Iraq and I am thrilled to be joining the amazing team at Northmed Dental.  I have graduated from the University of Otago and been living in Aotearoa New Zealand since 2016. 

Professionally, I am deeply passionate about incorporating modern dental approaches and technology into my daily practice. I firmly believe in a preventative and conservative approach to dental care, ensuring that each treatment is tailored to maximise effectiveness and comfort for my patients. 

With the rapid technological advancements in the world, I am committed to utilising dental technology to provide you with the most efficient, accurate, and comfortable dental experience possible.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy various artistic activities like painting, socialising with friends and family, along with trying new hobbies. This helps to keep me energised supporting a healthy work-life balance. Moreover, I love spontaneous road trips where I can explore the the diverse cultures and natural wonders of my home, Aotearoa New Zealand.
